About

On paper, my name is Tara Rudy (Cal). but Im titled differently by many. I am a brand new lifestyle blogger, and found my way here yesterday, after picking up a new life inspiration read. I have been finding myself dreaming of more, and since this past month of dreams, I have now found an attraction to this space. My family is made up of a lovely supportive husband, Jon, and three beautiful children, Ashur (7), Kalayha (5), and Oaklyn Lee 3 years. Ages will change but the birth order will always remain true. I have two dogs whom seem to catch our attention in a whirly winded time, but do provide extra love in our warm home. My blog topics are several, because I recently discovered, Im not yet expert at one thing, so Im broadening my blog to include all my happy imperfections. Happily imperfect sums up our world quite nicely, as My three little children all have a first name that is broadly meant to represent “happiness”, which many days it may seem happiness standards are lowered significantly. I work professionally, in a Nurse practitioner role, with a true passion for Mental wellness and change. Were placed on this earth to be less than routine, and I hope to instill the courage for each of you to grow in your new paths, as you step past comfort into a world of a surely imperfect path, filled with many new miricles for life.

The 90's were not technically advanced leaving me to find a passion of photography in an era that made the art less accessible to re create!

My first camera had me hooked.  The Kodak Ektralite 500 apparell with its sleek rectangle shape, taught me that I loved this craft!  The days of film had me capturing moment after moment, but best of all the long wait with suspense (7-10days) caught me to addiction!  I would find 1 maybe 2 good pictures from a 24 roll film!  The light was terrible, the shake was indescribable, the context sometimes just overlapped and left no eye appeal!  I was hooked on Improvement!  I would shoot-develop-and disappoint myself time and time again! As the advances came, so did opportunity!  I began studying the craft, and began to charge my brain for something more spectacular!

Today, I have a Nikon D3000, My first DSL!  I continue to learn something shoot after shoot, but with my learning path, I still find the true passion behind a lense!  My dream is to one day find a way to create stunning photo's 24/24, because I have now learned that this is a craft, that requires dedication, passion and a willingness to continue learning!

Beauty is everywhere, We just need to learn how to find it!        xo  Tara Rudy
